Chantal Mousad MBAus Director & Chair Chantal Mousad is an accomplished senior executive, board director, and advocate for inclusive leadership, with more than 20 years of international experience spanning financial services, risk management, governance, compliance, cybersecurity, financial crime, and organisational transformation across Australia and the Middle East. She currently serves as Chair of MBAus, where she is committed to strengthening governance and advancing the organisation’s strategic growth and impact. Chantal is also a Senior Manager at Westpac Group. Prior to Australia, Chantal held senior leadership positions with Qatar National Bank and served as Chief Risk Officer of RT Bank in Iraq, where she established the organisation’s first enterprise risk management framework across a network of financial institutions. Beyond her executive career, Chantal serves on a number of boards and advisory bodies, including CareerSeekers, and is Regional Director and Head of Oceania for the Global Resource Advisory Board (GRAB). She is a passionate advocate for economic participation, diversity, equity and inclusion, refugee employment, and women's leadership. A recipient of the UN Women Australia MBA Scholarship and the 2024 Super Naari Award for Women, Peace and Security, Chantal is recognised for her ability to bridge commercial excellence with social impact. Her leadership journey from arriving in Australia as a refugee to becoming a respected executive and board leader reflects her commitment to resilience, ethical leadership, and creating opportunities for others. Chantal holds a Bachelor of Economics and Commerce and is completing her MBA at the University of Sydney Business School. |
